REVIEW- The Vamps Take to the Stage at South Tyneside Festival!

We can all agree that for music lovers, festival season is the best season. You can get out in the sun, enjoy some live music, eat some great food. Well, at the South Tyneside Festival, they’ve done one better because they are allowing people to enjoy this experience completely free, every weekend for the next month! The Vamps are here to kick off the first week!

The festivities kicked off last weekend where the festival saw a fantastic line-up, with The Vamps headlining later in the day. However, the crowd were first warmed up with some great support acts. First up we had Lauren Amour – a singer-songwriter from Newcastle. The songstress successfully got the crowd going with an energetic performance that the audience seemed to love!

Next up were a local band called The Waiters, who haven’t performed live in five years! South Tyneside Festival pride themselves in supporting local talent, and they couldn’t have picked a better band to show that support. They sang a mixture of original songs and covers. No doubt that they have picked up a few new fans on the way with their insane performance.

TikTok star, Henry Moodie soon follows, and as he has supported The Vamps in the past, he already had quite the following to cheer him on. As always, he was absolutely fantastic live. He had the audience right in the palm of his hand. He sang a variety of original songs including “eighteen,” “drunk text,” and brand-new single “pick up the phone.” He also sang a captivating cover of Taylor Swift’s hit single “Anti-Hero.”

Finally, The Vamps take to the stage, completing the bill and, as expected, the crowd went wild from the moment they step foot on stage! As always, they put on a highly energetic performance that every single member of the audience will remember. They performed some of their most greatest hits including “Can We Dance,” “Wildheart,” “Somebody To You,” as well as many others. They finished up with their most streamed song “All Night” before giving their final bows where fans throw follows at their feet to show their appreciation.
