Henry Moodie Releases New Track ‘pick up the phone’

Although Henry Moodie is very new to the music scene, he has already made quite the impression with the handful of beautiful songs that he has so far released. “pick up the phone” is just another incredible ballad to add to the growing list.

Henry Moodie has a unique way of expressing his vulnerabilities within his lyricism. At just eighteen years old, he is able to discuss mature topics that every age can relate to. “pick up the phone” is a gentle track to listen to if you want to listen to something light to chill out to. The main theme that appears within his music is dealing with anxiety. This new track also follows that same theme. He talks about how everyone gets their bad days, and all you have to do when you are feeling down is to pick up the phone and talk to someone about it.

The singer also dropped a lyric video alongside the release, where he takes you on a typical day in the life of touring. In the video, you can witness what a day looks like for Henry from getting ready in the morning, all the way through to his performance in the evening.

He has continued to release banger after banger since then, and has blessed his listeners with other singles such as “drunk text” and “eighteen” which were both released early this year.
