At this point, it’s no secret that Taylor Swift is the artist that keeps on giving. After the success of her album “The Tortured Poets Department,” the songstress has just dropped an acoustic version of her single “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone.
“Fortnight” within itself is a gentle track that transports you to enchanting places. Somehow, Taylor has intensified that listening experience even more with the acoustic version. What stands out the most about the newest version is the enticing harmonies between Taylor and Post Malone. Both of which have stunningly unique voices. When blended together, they create the perfect masterpiece. This is apparent in the orginal tracks however, acoustically, it ten times more magical.
“The Tortured Poets Department” came as quite a surprise for those swifties. As the singer continues to release the re-releases of her previous albums, fans assumed that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) will be the next album drop. However, Taylor Swift thrives in taking her fans on a wild ride. She announced that a new album will be released and fans were shook to their very core. The surprises just kept on coming as when that date finally arrived, the superstar revealed that it is in fact a double album – meaning that Swifties were overwhelmed by thirtyone brand new, original songs!
Taylor continues to captivate audiences from across the globe as she continues her ERAS Tour. At a previous show, she announced that the tour will be coming to an end in December. Fans were clearly disappointed by this news, but what a time it has been. Taylor Swift has made history on this tour and fans will look back in years to come at the fond memories their favourite singer has given them.
