Taylor Swift is taking over the world right now. And to throw it into even more of a frenzie, last night she announced that 1989 (Taylor’s Version) will be released 27th October!

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) was just released only a few weeks ago, so fans were waiting in anticipation for which album is going to be the next re-release. Well, Taylor has decided that it’s now time to share that 1989 will be next, making it the fourth album to be reclaimed as her own! The songstress explained on her socials that the newest version of 1989 has so far been her favourite. Once again, it will include five additional tracks from The Vault which she is very excited about us hearing for the first time;

Alongside The Vault tracks, we will be hearing reimagined versions of some of her most popular songs including Bad Blood, Shake It Off and Blank Space, as well as fan favourites, Out Of The Woods, Clean, Style and I Know Places. In fact, we have already heard a slight snippet of the new re-release that was dropped way ahead in advance. Last year Taylor Swift dropped her version of This Love – a track that features on 1989. Fans assumed that 1989 (Taylor’s Version) was going to be released back then but alas, it was not the right time…apparently October 27th 2023 is the right time.

Taylor Swift is currently on her massive Eras Tour that is taking the world by storm! No matter what platform you are on, videos of fans getting excited is all you’ll see. And it is truly wonderful seeing music bringing people together like this and Taylor is the right Queen to do so.

1989 (Taylor’s Version) is now available to pre-order over on her website!
