If you have access to internet, you probably already know the news about the album announcement Taylor Swift iconically made at the VMA’s. Well, here is just another post talking about it. It would be a crime not to keep talking about it.
Taylor just seems to be the singer that keeps on giving. Back in 2019 before the world was in complete lockdown, the singer released her summery album “Lover.” Since then, she’s been churning out one album after the other. In 2020, she surprised us all with the drop of her album “folklore,” which saw sixteen wonderful tracks. Before fans were even able to fully process “folklore,” she released yet ANOTHER album titled “evermore.” It’s fair to say that Taylor Swift single handedly saved 2020 for us all.
Of course, in the time between then and now, she has been reclaiming ownership of her songs on her previous albums by re-releasing her own versions. Not only are we getting revamped versions of all the Swift classics, but she has also been releasing unreleased songs from The Vault. So far, we have heard Taylor’s Version of “Fearless” and “RED.” “RED” also saw the fantastic ten minute version of her track “All Too Well” which she made a short film around. The short film featured Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Smith. Taylor directed the whole thing and it recently won “Video Of The Year” at the VMA’s!
In true Taylor Swift fashion, when accepting her well-deserved award, she revealed on hr speech that her brand-new album “Midnights” will be released on the 21st of October! It’s an announcement no-one saw coming. At the very least, fans assumed she may announce the next re-release. No one could have guessed that she will be dropping thirteen brand-new songs! “Midnights” is now available to pre-order here!
