Hawkeye has finally been given his own series, to catch up fans with what he was up to between ‘Infinity War’ and ‘End Game’.
To date, Hawkeye is the only member of the original 6 Avengers who has not had his own solo project in terms of film or television series. However, this will change in November 2021, as fans will finally see exactly what Hawkeye experienced between the two gigantic events for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) returns as Hawkeye, with a festive vibe. The trailer sees him reunite with his family, after his wife and three children were brought back from the ‘snap’. However before this, he took it upon himself to single handedly help stop crime over the world, in the five years that his family had disappeared.
Lonely and helpless, he believed this would be for the common good. But has his past caught up with him?
The trailer also shows the introduction to Marvel Comics favourite, Kate Bishop (Played by Hailee Steinfield). With a stealthy aim, the trailer hints that she is as good as Hawkeye with her archery skills. The series will also include the character Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), who was first introduced in the Black Widow film released earlier this year.
The trailer seems heavily lead with a Christmas theme, which works perfectly with the release date. With Clint promising he will be home by Christmas, is it likely he will resolve the issues from his past on time? Tune in to find out!
‘Hawkeye’ is scheduled to be released on November 24th 2021, with a new episode likely to premiere every Wednesday for six weeks and concluding on 29th December 2021. This is the 5th TV Series release release this year, amongst favourites like WandaVision and Loki.
