LA singer Jack Conway has just dropped his brand-new single titled “Sad Songs.” The track is now available to stream via all major streaming platforms!
Don’t let the title fool you too much, “Sad Songs” is an extremely catchy bop that will be stuck in your hard for weeks on end. The lyrics behind the track s likely to resonate with a lot of people that are listening. Jack was inspired to write “Sad Songs” during the pandemic. When everything was all doom and gloom, he was getting tired of hearing all these sad songs, and wanted to write something more upbeat, but still packed an emotional punch.
When talking about the track, Jack Conway explains;
“During COVID, I got so sick of being sad/sad songs, so I wrote this song w/ 2 co-writers & produced it myself in my bedroom. It’s a perfect spring/summer jam to roll down the windows to, because it offers nostalgic names like Linkin Park & Evanesce with a modern Illenium-esk production. Just like people say “it’s good to cry”, it is also good to allow yourself to focus on and choose happiness.”
The best thing about this listening experience is that even though we’re all dealing with hard times, “Sad Songs” gives you hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Even though you may be going through something tough, there is a way out and you will be happy again. Jack has a way of lifting your spirits without being unrealistic. It’s a song that we could all deserve to have in our lives right now.
Jack takes inspiration from the likes of John Mayer, Charlie Puth, Shawn Mendes and the Jonas Brothers, and uses their influences to create a unique sound of his own. He is currently in talks with songwriters and music producers in the industry and is set to release an EP with new songs that are no doubt going to be just as good as “Sad Songs.”
He’s a singer that you have to keep your eye on. For future updates, be sure to follow Jack Conway on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
