Trentham Live is a fantastic annual event at the beautiful Trentham Gardens. This year, they have raised the standards even higher!
Trentham Live usually only takes place over a weekend however, as the festival has grown more and more successful over the years, it is now a five day event that takes place from the middle of August. This year sees an incredible line-up, and each day is different, yet there’s something for everybody.
The festival begins on Wednesday the 16th August with a crowd favourite, McFly. This will be the bands third year at Trentham Live and were added to the line-up due to popular demanded. McFly are one of the best live bands you could possibly see. They are the perfect way to start what will be a fun-filled event. Joining them on stage on the same day will be The Hoosiers who will be performing some of their best-loved singles including “Worried About Ray” and “Goodbye Mr. A.”
The party continues on the following day where Feeder will be headlining, alongside pop-rock band The Feeling and Jake Bugg. Each day sees a different genre of music, meaning that there will be something for everyone. So far, we’ve mentioned rock-bands and indie artists, now, on day three, we’re moving onto the DJs and dance music. Friday 18th August sees Chase & Status doing a DJ Set along with drum and bass legends Sigma and electronic dance music producer Luude joining them.
On Saturday the 19th August, the Kaiser Chiefs will be headlining the stage. Another great band to see perform live. Their fun, energetic tracks will sure get the crowd off their feet and dancing. They will be performing with special guests Razorlight. Completely the line-up we have Olly Murs with his very special guest Natalie Imbruglia on Sunday 20th August.
That is a lineup that will be hard to beat. Trentham Live know how to put on a great party. You can check out our review from a previous year here. Tickets are still available and can be found here.
