Maisie Peters Releases New Track ‘Two Weeks Ago’

Maisie Peters

Ahead of the release of her highly-anticipated album, Maisie Peters drops a stunning new single titled “Two Weeks Ago.”

So far, we have heard three new tracks from Maisie this year; “Body Better,” “Lost The Breakup,” and a beautiful ballad “Two Weeks Ago.” The new single showcases the singers sensitive side as she slows things down a bit. Whilst the previous tracks are insanely catchy, and expresses a sense of rebellion after a relationship ends, “Two Weeks Ago” tells a different side to the story. The ore heartbreaking phase where you’re looking back at a relationship and wishing you were still there with that person. It shares the regrets that were felt, the memories shared, and all the love that was felt that is no longer there.

Maisie Peters wrote the track with long-term collaborator Brad Ellis (Anne-Marie, Jorja Smith) and Jez Ashurst (Anne-Marie, One Republic). On the 23rd of June, she will be releasing a whole new album “The Good Witch” which is the follow-up album to her debut “You Signed Up For This.” It has been described that “The Good Witch” is a more older and wiser than her previous album. Although, in true Maisie style, the tracks that we’ve from the album so far still tells catchy yet vulnerable stories that are to die for.

The songstress has already been touring all over the place this year, yet she continues to power through to perform to thousands of music fans. In August, she will be heading to Northern America which she has dubbed “The Good Witch Comes to North America.” She will be support Ed Sheeran at a variety of these shows as well as festivals.
