It’s been a while since we’ve heard new music from The Summer Set since the release of their last album “Blossom” last year. Now, we are getting the first snippet of the second part of that album with the release of their newest single “Under The Influence(r).”
The Summer Set are well-known for their incredibly catchy, pop-punk anthems. “Under The Influence(r)” has to be one of their most memorable songs yet. It’s all about how much you dislike a particular ex. They used you. Didn’t care about how you are feeling. And an all-round bully. These feelings and emotions have been summed up in a wonderful song that will live in your head rent-free.
The single was released alongside a music video that is as fun-loving and as memorable as the song itself. It is now available to view below;
Last year, The Summer Set dropped the first part of their album “Blossom.” The album features eight incredible tracks that suit the band down to a T. It was the first set of songs to be released after a four year hiatus. It’s fair to say that they were clearly missed in that time by fans however, they are now back and stronger than ever. They’re planning on releasing part 2 of “Blossom” later this year.
