Music can take us back to simpler times, the best times, the worst of times, and times we wish we could forget. Nostalgia can be addictive whether that feeling is good or bad. Our Song of the Week for this week is perfect if one is feeling this way.
The Summer Set are an American pop-rock band who have a long list of highly catchy tunes in their discography. “Nostalgic” is just the latest one to be added. The track has a soothing feel to it that instantly puts you at ease. It is a song that will force to look back on the past fondly, and with no regrets.
Last year (2025), The Summer Set dropped their sixth studio album “Meet Me At The Record Store” – which was the first full-length album that they released in nine long years. The tracklist is filled with catchy melodies and lyricism that will trasport you to a different time. The tracklist includes “I Don’t Wanna Party”, “For The First Time”, and “Miserable” which features TikTok singer, Jax.
