Last year, Pink started out on her massive stadium tour that ran across the world. It was such a big success, that the songstress decided to continue the tour into this year!

The second part of the tour began this week in Cardiff. The city was filled with a sea of pink. Hats, feather boas, extravagant pink outfits, all the welcome the singer back to the UK. The event took place at Principality Stadium where thousands gathered to join what was to be an incredible party. Support acts included TikTok sensation GAYLE, and well-known band The Script – both of which warmed the crowd up before Pink took to the stage.

Starting with her iconic song “Get the Party Started” where she showed off her acrobatic skills as she, quite literally, bounces around the stage. From here, she sang classic after classic including; Raise Your Glass, Just Like A Pill, and Try. She even sang some old but gold album tracks such as “Please Don’t Leave Me” – where she harmonized with her back singers beautifully.

She introduced a rather extraordinary young lady in the middle of her set. Her daughter, Willow, wowed the crowd with her sweet vocals as she sang “Cover Me in Sunshine” with her mum. It was truly a heartwarming moment that was wonderfully shared with the audience. Not only did she perform her classics, but also some of her recent work. “Trustfall” was a crowd favourite as she had some insane dancers doing some impressive trampoline work on stage. The concert ended in the most iconic way possible. Pink is famously known for flying other the crowd during “So What” and this show was no different. She took to the sky like a bird as she floated around the stadium. How she was still able to sing the way she did whilst somersaulting in the air is something we can’t quite answer.

Overall, the whole production was a sight to be seen. Not only were Pink’s vocals and performance flawless, but her talented team also made the show what it is. Her band and dancers were phenomenal and the amount of professionalism and musicianship, whilst still maintaining friendly, on stage banter, was a pleasure to witness. It’s fair to say that Cardiff went home craving more. It’s not a performance one can truly describe and do it justice. You simply have to see it to believe it.
