Sophie Shredz has shared phenomenal new track ‘OMG’. It’s available to listen to on all major streaming platforms!

Sophie has returned with new single and listeners are already reaching for the repeat button. These days, a lot of the music industry can sound the same with wishy-washy lyrics and simiar sounding rhythms. Sophie Shredz, however, is here to change the game and your mind on how music is perceived.

‘OMG’ starts with an intro that can only relate to horror films, the creepy death notice announces the single perfectly, and lines up what’s in store. Sophie Shredz has a really unique sound, combining sounds of rap, scream, and hyper pop. It’s dark, it’s twisted, and it belongs on every playlist you can think of.

When discussing the new track, Sophie said:

“‘OMG’ is about living rent free in another person’s head. It’s about when someone’s hate for you turns into an obsession. The song pokes fun at them for wanting to tear me down when I’m thriving and living my best life. ‘OMG’ opened up a lot of new ideas for my upcoming album and influenced where the SOPHIE SHREDZ project is going creatively and sonically.” 

Sophie Shredz is the project of Sophie Ruggiero, from New Jersey. She is based in Nashville, and is a songwriter and vocalist while also playing guitar. She grew up listening to the greats such as Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd, and has been playing guitar since the young age of 7 years old.
