Will Young has returned to the world of music with new single ‘Falling Deep’. It’s available to listen to on all major streaming platforms!

It’s proving to be a busy 2024 already for Will as he releases gorgeous new track ‘Falling Deep’, announces album ‘Light It Up’ and prepares for a UK tour later on this year. He’s back in full force, and fans couldn’t be happier.

‘Falling Deep’ has a sense of urgency that will leave a lump on your throat for the duration of the track. It offers a dangerous vibe with difficult decisions to make, which many of its’ listeners can relate to.

When discussing the new track, Will Young said:

“I’m remembering my roots of pop and completely welcoming it. The song immediately made my mind go to the late 70s and early 80s. I wanted the fun and nostalgia of that time but to modernise it, and I’m so proud of the result. I wanted to work with dancers my age as I think sometimes there can be such a focus on youth in the dance world for all performers, and older performers come with such grace and wisdom. It was a fantastic day working with people my age. We all knew what a Nintendo Gameboy was and I think especially women can be overlooked as they age, so it felt very important to work with men and women for the project”.

The world of pop music has welcomed Will back with open arms and fans around the world are thrilled with what’s to come. The forthcoming album ‘Light It Up’ is due to be released on 9th August, and will see his full return to ‘joyous pop’. Truly heading back to his roots, this pop idol has a bright future ahead as he celebrates where it all began.
