Charlie Simpson, Matt Willis and James Bourne are coming together to mark the massive 20 years of the band.
Busted found fame from the release of their first single ‘What I Go To School For’ in 2002. From there, it was hit after hit with 2 successful albums, the self titled ‘Busted’ and ‘A Present For Everyone’.
The band separated in January 2005, and saw the boys venture into new opportunities and start new bands and families.
Matt Willis and James Bourne were a part of a short term supergroup with the boys from McFly back in 2013 named McBusted, releasing an album and 2 tours. Complete with fan favourites from both bands, the nostalgia was wild for the crowds that flogged in their thousands.
Busted then completely reformed in 2016 for their ‘Pigs Can Fly’ tour, and have since gone on to release albums ‘Night Driver’ and ‘Half Way There’. Both with a more mature sound, but with a sense of the Busted many shared their childhoods with.
As well as the upcoming tour, the band will soon be releasing a very special Greatest Hits album. With collaborations from huge names such as McFly and Simple Plan, fans are excited to hear new, reimagined versions of their favourites. We can’t wait to hear what they have in store!
