You Me At Six Drop ‘Deep Cuts’

You Me At Six have released their brand new single ‘Deep Cuts’. It’s now available to listen to on all major streaming platforms!

Consisting of Josh Franceschi on vocals, Matt Barnes on bass, Chris Helyer on rhythm guitar and Dan Flint on drums, they have gained over half a billion streams, and have sold out headline tours around the world.

The lyrics are clearly written from a heartfelt place and this really comes across in the vocals from Josh Franceschi. It can be difficult to see someone you’re close to hanging onto hope in a relationship when it’s clearly not working for either of them. Especially when you’re the person they come to with their concerns.

A lot of us have been in this situation at some point – giving friendly advice to a friend who is clinging onto hope that their relationship could be better, when from the outside it seems unlikely.

When discussing the new release, vocalist Josh Franceschi said:

“Deep Cuts’ is about being on the outside looking in on people in your circle who are going through pain or a bad moment by being with the wrong person. Suffering because they’re holding onto someone or something that they could let go of. Knowing that they would be more than fine on the other side of it, but convincing them of that is easier said than done. Hoping they will eliminate the trauma by moving past it as quick as possible.”

You Me At Six are considered masters of their genre, with 15 years in the business and seven albums deep. They have had two UK #1 albums and continue to represent pop rock and emo on a global level.

The fun really doesn’t stop for the boys of You Me At Six, as they hit the road in North Americs later on this year to support Japanese rock group ONE OK ROCK. You can find the tour dates below and book your tickets here.
