The Great Leslie have dropped their brand new track, ‘Everything From Last Night’. The song is available to listen to on Spotify!
Based in London, England, the band are an indie and alternative rock group that formed in 2020. The Great Leslie are complete with Ollie Trevers on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, Julien Baraness on Lead Guitar, Jason Boyd on bass and Ryan Lavender on Drums.
Inspired by holidays abroad pre-Covid, the band were inspired to create this new bop. The incredibly summery tune will have you hooked from the start with the perfect timing of instruments and the infectious vocals from Ollie.
The song will really have you longing for a beer in the sun. The Great Leslie have done a phenomenal job of capturing drunk summer nights into a song, and we trust this will hit several playlists over the next few months!
When discussing the new single, Ollie said:
“Everything From Last Night is all about my holidays with my brother in Mexico. I wrote it with summer in mind, as I wanted to create a conduit between the audience and their happy memories of a carefree existence, particularly as a carefree existence is the antithesis of everything we have experienced over this past year or so. It talks about holiday romances, drinking and partying too much. It’s born of happiness and joy, which are feelings I very rarely focus on when writing.”
The boys had an incredible introduction to the music world, and have had two of their previous tracks featured as BBC Introducing Suffolks’ ‘Track Of The Week’. They have had numerous mentions and plays on radio stations such as Planet Rock, XS Manchester and Amazing Radio.
‘Everything From Last Night’ had its’ first spin by John Kennedy on Radio X.
