Jake Wesley Rogers Releases ‘Momentary’ Live From A Courthouse

Jake Wesley Rogers has recently dropped a live rendition of his stunning new single “Momentary.” This wonderful performance is now available to view via YouTube below;

“Momentary” was released as a single only a short few months ago to celebrate Pride month. In the song, Jake pays homage to some of his favourite LGBTQ+ trailblazers – this can be from real life heroes such as  Marsha P. Johnson, Oscar Wilde, to fictional characters the singer admires such as Peter Pan. The live performance takes place from A Courthouse. Here, he showcases his powerful vocals and makes the true meaning behind the track even more special.

When talking about the performance, Jake Wesley Rogers explains;

“I chose to perform in a courthouse because although we’ve come a long way, we still have a long way to go. I’m reminded how important it is to boldly be who I was born to be, but also to remember those who paved the way, whose tapestry we continue to weave, whose bodies are seeds in the ground, whose legacies still live with us now”

This is only just the start for the rising star! For the rest of the year, Jake will be looking forward to playing at a variety of festivals including Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. His music has also been praised by some of the biggest names in the music industry including Kate Hudson – who raved about him on her Instagram – Ryan Reynolds, Sam Smith, Olivia Wilde, Adam Lambert, and Zoe Saldana. Hopefully he will also continue to influence the next generations with his music, songwriting, and fashion. A true icon for the LGBTQ+ community.

The official music video can be watched via Youtube below – definitely worth checking out! To keep up to date on what Jake Wesley Rogers is up to, be sure to follow him on Twitter and Instagram!
