Samantha Harvey has returned with her fantastic new single ‘Don’t Call It Love’. The track is now available to stream via all major streaming platforms here!
Samantha is a pop singer songwriter based in Suffolk. With an incredibly successful career on YouTube, she has amassed a whopping 2.3 million subscribers, and over 245 million views across her uploads. During her career, Samantha Harvey has supported some of the biggest names in the music industry including Craig David, Rita Ora, and Nick Jonas.
The new single has come after Samantha’s track named ‘Get To Know You’. The song accumulated an impressive 20 million streams on Spotify, and we have no doubt the new release will amount to similar figures.
Samantha’s incredible vocals are apparent from the moment you press play. The song has a care free vibe, with an 80’s inspired sound. You’ll be up and dancing by the chorus. The lyrics are about getting on well with another person who has recently come into your life, and fearing the pressure of making things official. Samantha perfectly depicts this feeling, and beautifully describes it throughout the song.
When discussing the single, Samantha said:
“Don’t Call It Love is a relatable song about when you meet someone you like but don’t want to put a label on it, because you are scared that once you do things will have too much pressure and fall apart. The lyrics are deep and meaningful but the production with the acoustic guitar gives it a happy vibe. I’m looking forward to belting this one out on tour!”
