“Feels So Real” is filled to the brim with energy. The music video shows the band travelling at night, taking in all the wonders of their newfound home in London. The atmosphere makes you wish that you were in that car with them, exploring the city! There is not always pretty filter in the video however. Not only have they captured the stunning lights and wonderful views of London at night, but also the gritty and not so pretty side. This makes the title of the song “Feels So Real” come to life. They’re showing you what nightlife is truly like in the city.
When talking about the track, James McGregor of The Clockworks explains;
“The idea for this song was to soundtrack a certain feeling, a rapture or excitement, for the lyrics to set the scene and the music to set the feeling. This song is essentially about how all the things that make up the city; the good, the bad and the ugly are all what make it exciting… In a way it could be about finding hope in hopeless circumstances.”
The track was written just before the first lockdown, and was finished through the duration. The lyrics to the song create a vivid memory of what life was like before we all got shut up in our houses in order to keep safe. The incredible track is now avaiable to stream via all major streaming platforms!
