The Vamps have recently dropped their brand new music video for their song “Would You.” The video is now available to watch via YouTube below:
“Would You” is an incredible track that features on the band’s latest album “Cherry Blossom.” The album was released late last year and found it’s rightful place at Number 1 on the UK’s Official Album Chart – making it the band’s second Number 1 album!
The music video for the track perfectly captures the eerie mood that “Would You” radiates. The song itself is about having doubts in the relationship you are in. Wondering whether your partner is really into the relationship…or do they even care? We have all found ourselves in this position at least once in our lives, making the track highly relatable to anyone who hears it.
With the album being called “Cherry Blossom,” The Vamps have wonderfully incorporated this theme throughout this whole era. With their first single “Married In Vegas,” fans were teased with a cherry blossom tree that was beautifully in bloom. This single was also more upbeat than “Would You” – which is rather dark in comparison. A complete contrast. At the end of the “Would You” video, we see lead singer Brad Simpson staring at a cherry blossom tree without its petals. Fans are now asking the questions; what does this mean? Very thought provoking but also aesthetically pleasing to watch. There is no denying the artistic eye and creativity that went into the video, as well as their whole album campaign.
You will be able to hear “Would You,” and all the other “Cherry Blossom” tracks when the band kick off their UK tour this September! Tickets can be found here, and the rescheduled tour dates can be found below;
