Ukrainian producer and songwriter Sleepwoka has recently dropped his brand-new single titled “Together We Are.” The track is now available to stream on Spotify!

“Together We Are” is a catchy track filled to the brim with addicting electro-pop soundscapes. It’s a song you can dance to, but also one you can sit back, relax, and just appreciate the song for what it is. Sleepwoka has the power to create meaningful lyrics and then blend them with mind-blowing and well-crafted electronic sounds.

In the track, Sleepwoka reflects on how incredible true friendships can be – even when they’re far apart. Many of us have struggled being away from a lot of our friends this year due to the COVID-19 crisis. The singer wanted to create s song that works as a tribute to the friends that he may not have seen for a while. He says;

“Together We Are, is a tribute to all my friends that are scattered around the world. Although we live different lives and rarely see each other, it feels like the invisible connection only grows stronger. It’s a connection that reaches beyond messages on your phone. It’s the feeling that you get when warm memories from the past remind you of the strength of the friendship – which is especially important right now. Whatever this crazy world brings to us, it still feels like we’re in this together and no distance or time can change that.”

No matter how difficult this year has been, it has made us realise just how much we need the people around us. If anything, it’s a time where we have seen who our true friends are, and have been closer to for it. Music is a beautiful way to bring us closer together so why not send “Together We Are” to a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while?
