28-year-old singer-songwriter Sydney Sprague has dropped a lyric video for her stunning new single “I Refuse To Die.” The video can now be viewed via Youtube below!:

Sydney Sprague has recently signed to Rude Records, where she will continue her journey in the music industry. “I Refuse To Die” is a wonderful piece of music that allows you to hear Sydney’s creativity, and hard-hitting lyrics. Fans can now stream “I Refuse To Die” on all major streaming platforms now!

When speaking about her new signing with Rude Records, the singer says;

“I’m so grateful that I get to continue to do what I love thanks to Rude. To have the support of this team, especially during this odd time, is a literal dream come true. I can’t wait to show you what we’ve got planned.”

The song was written before the horrors 2020 had in store for us, but Sydney could sense that negative energy and used her song-writing talents to articulate this feeling. Thus “I Refuse To Die” was born. The singer thought the previous year had gone too smoothly, almost too good to be true. Something was going to happen to destroy this. This song was the outcome of her suspicion and paranoia. Sadly, she was right. But at least we got and incredible song out of it!

When talking about the single, Sydney Sprague explains:

“This song is a desperate wish for good luck. but looking around at the world it feels like it didn’t work.”
