The insane power duo Eighty Ninety have just dropped their brand-new single “Better as Friends” – now available to stream on all major streaming platforms!

This smooth yet catchy track is likely to be one of your new favourite songs. It’s the second single to be released from Eighty Ninety’s upcoming EP – which was created in collaboration with Grammy-nominated producer Gian Stone. Gian has worked with the likes of Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Halsey and Dua Lipa – some of the biggest names in the music industry!

“Better as Friends” is a highly personal song to the New York based pair. It touches on deep feelings that anyone that will listen to it can relate to. When speaking about the single, members Abner and Harper say;

“It’s about the desire to live in the past rather than face the end, and how loving someone can mean wanting the best for them even if that no longer includes you,”

Eighty Ninety have already got so much success to their name. Their break out single “Three Thirty” – which was released back in 2016 – found a place at number 2 on Spotify’s Global Viral Charts and was closely followed by their debut EP Elizabeth. Now, they have over 26 million streams to their name! “Better as Friends” and their new EP are likely to make that already massive number even higher.
