The beloved bear, Paddington, has returned to our screens in the third film “Paddington in Peru”

This wholesome movie will weirdly have you on the edge of your seat. As the previous Paddington films, the story begins with the lovely, well-mannered bear (Ben Wishaw) writing a letter to his Aunt Lucy – who lives in a retirement home for bears in Peru. However, before he is able to send the letter, Mrs Brown (Emily Mortimer) informs him that he has recieved a letter from The Reverend Mother (Olivia Coleman) – who is the head nun of the retirement home. She is concered for his Aunts well being and so the Brown family – Mrs Brown, Henry Brown (Hugh Bonneville), Judy Brown (Madeleine Harris), Jonathan Brown (Samuel Joslin) and Mrs Bird (Julie Walters) – head off on holiday to Peru to see Aunt Petunia!

However, tragic news awaits them when the Reverend Mother tells them that Aunt Petunia is missing. Paddington is clearly very concerned for his family member as he is all the family she has. The Browns decide that they must find out the truth behind her dissapperance. They set out on what seems to be an impossible adventure through the massive jungle. But, they do meet a couple of friends along the way; Hunter Cabot (Antonio Banderas), and his daughter Gina (Carla Tous). But, not all is what it seems. What secrets will unravel on this adventure?

“Paddington in Peru” is a charming, and hilarious tale of a bear that you can not help but fall in love with. He is a national treasure for a reason. The story was wonderfully told, and had you guessing from the moment the movie started playing. The twists and turns are to be so unexpected to any viewer. It is perfect for the whole family.
