“Fantasy” is everything you could ask for in a song, all wrapped up into an infectious masterpiece. It is the perfect track for a night out at the club, or if that’s not your sort of thing, then ladies you can always have a girly night in and jam to the track over some cocktails. It was produced by long-term collaborator Mark Sabbath and is the third single that JADE (Thirlwall) has released this year as a solo artist. Her previous tracks being “Angel Of My Dreams” and “Midnight Cowboy“.

On the single, she explains;

“’Fantasy’ is a love song that I wrote with dream team Pablo Bowman and Mike Sabath about feeling safe enough with your partner to shamelessly explore your fantasies! We wrote this the day after ‘AOMD’ was written, and from then on I always knew it would be the second single. I can’t wait for my fans to experience more of my musical world.” – CLASH

Alongside the single, the songstress also shared a vibrant and exciting music video that perfectly depicts the vibe of the track. It was filmed in LA and was directed by David LaChapelle. The video as a 70s energy full of bright colours and dancing, as well as also having a particularly creepy scene that was inspired by the film “Carrie.” It also features the iconic Drag Queen Love Connie as the villain.

We already knew that she was an absolute superstar in her Little Mix days, and she is proving to be a fantastic soloist. She’s using her individuality to experiment with sounds and lyricism. She creates a unique blend of sounds that pushes the boundaries of what a pop song should sound like. Listeners will be pulled into something that is vividly magical.
