The Blessed Madonna have announced their hotly anticipated debut album ‘Godspeed’. It will be available to listen to on 11th October!

Comprising with a massive 24 tracks, fans and listeners around the world are thrilled with the announcement of debut album ‘Godspeed’ from The Blessed Madonna. The new tracks acts as a testament to Marea Stamper (aka The Blessed Madonna), with a number of influences and collaborations.

Written over the course of 3 very intense and creative years, the new collection will include hits such as ‘Mercy’ featuring Jacob Lusk, ‘Seratonin Moonbeams’, and the UK Top 20 singles ‘Godspeed’ and ‘Happier’ featuring Clementine Douglas.

When discussing the new release, Marea said:

“After nearly a year in lockdown, when I signed the paperwork and knew that I was going to be allowed to make this album, I called my dad in Kentucky to tell him the good news. He could not contain his pride and in a way his relief. I was going to be ok. He says it better than I do at the beginning of the record. I lost him suddenly just weeks before the first session, but his voice will live in Godspeed forever and make a million more journeys to everyone who hears it.
This is a welcome and a farewell.
The end of a journey and the beginning.
A clock running out and an alarm.

Balancing the twin flames of race and religion, the personal themes of the album will feel as though it’s burning both ends of the candle. Exploring the emotions of these crucially important areas, ‘Godspeed’ will be sure to hit you in your feels, in the most glorious way.
