5 Seconds of Summer are celebrating the anniversary of their self-titled debut album with two brand-new vinyl formats and bonus tracks!
Let’s travel back to 2014. Bands were in their ultimate prime with McFly and Busted joining forces to become a supergroup, and new bands on the scene such as The Vamps and 5 Seconds of Summer were taking the world by storm. In that year, 5SOS released their debut album that housed sixteen, extremely catchy songs that fans will unlikely forget. It is filled with nostalgia that fills your tummy with butterflies every time you hear it. Over the last twelve years, 5SOS have brought pure, pop-punk energy. In that time, they have released five incredible number 1 albums, and selling 18 million albums, and 6 million concert tickets across the world. Over the years, the band have experimented with their alternative sound, and pushed the boundaries by taking influence across a variety of genres.
Now, to celebrate the ten year anniversary of said album, fans of the band will be treated to two, special edition vinyls; a picture disc, and a red vinyl – both of which will feature different bonus tracks. The picture disc will include fan favourites; Voodoo Doll and Disconnected, whilst the Red Vinyl LP exclusively features an alternate front cover sleeve and bonus tracks Lost Boy and Mrs All America – both of these songs were only featured on the Austrailian and American versions of the album.
