Longlegs has been highly anticipated in the lead up to its’ release, and is now available to watch at all major cinemas.
The release of Longlegs has taken TikTok by storm, with many expressing it’s one of the scariest films they’ve ever seen and by far the creepiest of 2024.
The film follows FBI agent Lee Harriet (Maika Monroe), who has been put onto a new case spanning decades. With not a lot to go on, the only similarities to the murders of Longlegs is that a young girl and her family are killed by the father in a murder suicide set up, with all girls having birthdays on the 14th of any given month.
With some stand out performances amongst the cast, it’s to no surprise that Nicholas Cage indulges in the weird and creepy portrayal of Longlegs himself. How performance will leave you checking over your shoulder long after you’ve left the cinema, expecting something sinister.
‘Longlegs’ will have you on the edge of your seat throughout the duration. With hints along the way of what the connection is, it’s hard to choose just one avenue to believe the film will lead. With a lot of potential outcomes, fans have taken online to discuss their own plot points.
The pace of the film is also pretty scary, as it seems to have a different pattern to other films of the same genre. You won’t know where to look, and each jump scare is 100% earned!
