The Drama Queens Podcast has finally hit season 7 and has welcomes a brand new host to mark the occasion! But who has taken to the mic?
Drama Queens has been available to listen to on your favourite streaming platform since June 2021, and has seen some familiar faces from the One Tree Hill franchise discuss their time on the show. Sophie Bush (Brooke Davis), Joy Lenz (Haley Scott), and Hilarie Burton (Peyton Sawyer) have re-watched the show from the pilot, and discussing their experiences along the way.
As Hilarie’s character left at the end of season 6, it felt right to welcome a new Drama Queen to the show to provide more of the behind the scenes gossip that listeners like to sink their teeth into. Hilarie Burton will still guest star from time to time and help with executive production.
Rob Buckley played Clay Evans on the teen drama from season 7 until the final episode of One Tree Hill. Playing the role of Nathans agent, Clay has a mysterious past that is hinted at throughout season 7 with it coming to a head for the finale. His promiscuous ways have become popular among the women he surrounds himself with, but why does he refuse to settle down?
The podcast have welcomed Rob with open arms, and came as a surprise as many believed the hosting slot would be warded to a female. Offering a completely different experience and outlook, the Drama Queens will continue to rewatch the run of the show and offer interesting incite of what was happening off set at the same time.
The show itself has been really successful since 2021, and has been on numerous tours and guest appearances. One Tree Hill fans have found comfort in listening along, and has also acted like a group therapy session for those involved.
