Fans of the Marvel franchise are thrilled as the trailer for ‘Agatha All Along’ has finally hit our screens.
The new series has been in the pipeline for a while, following the success of ‘WandaVision’. The show released in 2021 saw Wanda Maximoff, also known as the Scarlet Witch, struggle with the grief of losing her partner, Vision. It’s clear to many viewers that she is the one Avenger who has had to deal with the most grief and trauma since her introduction in ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’.
WandaVision saw the witch create made up scenarios in a real town spanning across different decades in the style of a sitcom. But is everything as it seems? Wanda has the house, Vision, and their twin boys. It seems like an ideal situation, until you realise this is just her way of controlling her grief and the difficulty she’s experiencing with grief.
Since the first episode we meet Agatha, who returns throughout the series and is the neighbour to the family. In one of the greatest twist, we find out towards the end of the series that it was ‘Agatha all along’, who can use dark magic in her witchy ways to get what she wants.
Viewers are looking forward to seeing how Agatha is coping since these effects and how she might get her power back, since Scarlet Witch drained her of her powers in the finale of WandaVision.
Agatha is played by no other than the phenomenal Kathryn Hahn and quickly became a beloved character of the franchise. As she onboards a group of residents to her ‘coven’, we can’t wait to see how the miniseries will play out and whether this will be the next time we see Wanda.
Seeing the cross between her real life as a detective and the Agatha as we know her, this is sure to be one of the most successful Marvel miniseries’ fans have seen.
