A brand-new drama has just dropped on iPlayer, and will soon be hitting Netflix! A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder has an interesting concept, and is based on an extremely popular book!

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is a hit young adult trilogy written by author Holly Jackson. It takes place in a fictional town named Little Kilton, and now, it’s been brought to our screens to watch before our eyes. The story follows Pip Fitz-Amobi (Emma Myers) as she completes a project for college. She decides that she wants to solve a murder that took place in the town five years earlier. Andie Bell (India Lillie-Davies) was a popular girl surrounded by friends but…she had secrets that led her to trouble. She was found murdered and her boyfriend, Sal Singh. Sal supposedly admitted to the murder before he took his own life. Pip never truly believed that Sal was capable of such things and took it upon herself to solve what truly happened alongside Sal’s brother Ravi (Zain Iqbal).

It’s a thriller/drama that takes multiple twists and turns that you would not expect. It takes the saying “keeping you on the edge of your seat” to a whole new level. Not only is it suspenseful, but the TV drama does a great job of keeping a tad bit of humour buried amongst the horror. As it follows a bunch of teenagers, there is also a lot of coming-of-age aspects in the storyline also. Whilst what Pip is dealing with is rather intense, you also witness her juggle her close relationships and friendships, as well as her studies.

It’s a great adaptation that you can’t help but binge. Once you’ve watched one episode, you will continue watching for the rest of the day to find out what happens. It’s now on iPlayer, and will also be up on Netflix within the next few weeks for all to see!
