Alec Benjamin has been slowly sharing his new era by releasing singles over the past few months. So far, he has released four incredible tracks including his most recent one “King Size Bed.”
Lyrically, Alec likes to write music that hits you right in the soul. He metaphorically stabs you straight in the heart with his words. Adding those words to catchy beats should be illegal, yet here we are bingeing everything he releases. “King Size Bed” is no exception to this rule. The track talks about the aftermath of a break-up. The singer is feeling lonely in his massive bed that he used to share with his loved-one. He is led there, alone, knowing that he has messed up and hopes that she changes her mind and returns to him. All these feelings are beautifully wrapped together with an energetic beat that is simply addicting. It’s one to add to your playlist – especially if your going through a particular heartbreak!
As mentioned, “King Size Bed” isn’t the only new release Alec Benjamin has dropped recently. He has also shared three other wonderful masterpieces; “Different Kind of Beautiful,” “I Sent My Therapist to Therapy”, and “Pick Me.” With every release, they just keep getting better and better – and the standards were high to begin with! All music that he has been sharing recently will be featured on his upcoming album “Different Kind of Beautiful.” He is yet to state details on his new LP, but we will be waiting here with eagar ears.
