“Classical” is the wonderful new single from Vampire Weekend – and it is now available to stream via all major streaming platforms!
If you have never heard of Vampire Weekend, then you must be living under a rock. But, if that is the case, let us introduce them to you! The group formed in 2006, and perfected their unique, intricate style in 2008. Since then, they have become extremely successful. They were the first indie rock band to have two consecutive albums enter the Billboard 200 at number 1. They have toured all across the world performing in front of large crowds filled with adoring fans.
Their music can be described as indie-rock, with a subtle hint of pop. The combination of the three genres creates the perfect blend of stunning melodies and catchy beats. Their New single “Classical” is no exception to the rule. It’s a track that describes the sound of Vampire Weekend wonderfully. It’s a sound that is universal. Any music lover that hears the single is bound to fall in love with it in an instant.
The track was also released alongside a music video that has quite an interesting style to it. The band have almost made it look like they had no budget, but it certainly works! Upon watching, you will see the band performing in front of a green screen that showcases different types of architecture. It almost looks like an amateur student film that has a mix of a band performance and home videos. But it certainly adds to that charm!
