Bradley and Jon from S Club has released a very special version of the bands track ‘Good Times’, in memory of Paul Cattermole.
Nearly a year ago, S Club 7 tragically lost one of their members, Paul Cattermole, and much has changed since then. What hasn’t, is their love for him and the continuous celebration of his life.
‘Good Times’ has always been an incredibly popular track taken from the bands 3rd album ‘Sunshine’, and was a track that featured mostly Paul’s vocals. With a band of 7 members, it was common for each album to have dedicated tracks to just one of them to showcase their talents, and this easy listen remains a favourite. Wishing is a distant dream where work doesn’t matter, and your day to day schedule is filled with breezy hopes and nostalgia.
Members Bradley McIntosh and Jon Lee have worked together to cover the track, and was released last week on Paul’s birthday. Fans are thrilled and the new re-imagined version of the track knowing it’s in homage to it’s original vocalist.
To share and celebrate the life of Paul, S Club renamed their reunion tour last year to the ‘Good Times Tour‘, and are currently in America performing the show. Fans have flocked in their thousands for that hint of nostalgia.
The band have been really vocal about how excited Paul was for the tour, and it’s so lovely that he’s incorporated so much in their tour and their music even since his passing. The group also released phenomenal single ‘These Are The Days’ last year, reminding their listeners to enjoy every moment.
