Luke Hemmings has just released his new solo single “Shakes” – which can now be streamed via all major streaming platforms!
“Shakes” is full to the brim with chill vibes – making the track one of the most relaxing songs that you will hear all week. Luke’s vocals will give you chills that will travel down your spine, right down to the tips of your toes. The single flows so beautifully, you almost forget that you’re even listening to a song. It transports you to a realm of bliss. It puts you in a state of mind that you never want to leave. You could almost say that it gives you feelings that you don’t want to…shake.
Luke Hemmings is certainly no stranger. And if you don’t know who he is, then we can only guess that you’ve been living under a rock for the last decade or so. Luke became highly successful in his band 5 Seconds of Summer along with his bandmates Calum Hood, Michael Clifford, and Ashton Irwin. Together, they have sold out massive venues from all over the world and have garnered billions of streams across streaming sites. Although the band are still going strong, they have also decided that they will branch off slightly and do their own thing.
In 2021, Luke shared his debut solo album “When Facing the Things We Turn Away From.” Now, he is venturing out again and “Shakes” is the first snippet of what’s to come. He is set to release an EP titled “boy” in April. The EP was recorded in New York with Grammy-nominated producer Sammy Witte (Maggie Rogers, Harry Styles, Freya Ridings) and has been said to show a more mature side to the singer. “boy” is now available to pre-order here.
