It is also lyrically beautiful. It talks of frontman’s Austin’s own experiences; watching his parents broken marriage as a child, and how this has affected his relationships now that he is grown. It is a topic that many listeners can relate to, making the track extra special to those who listen. The lyrics are raw, intense, yet comforting to those who are/have experienced the same pain. Austin is sharing that anxiety with us, and that is something that can be difficult to process. It’s easy to appreciate the song for what it is; a masterpiece.
