Redferrin has dropped his gorgeous debut EP ‘Old No. 7’. It is now available to listen to on all major streaming platforms!

The album starts with the popular ‘Jack and Diet Coke’. It sets the scene of the new EP perfectly, complete with a gorgeous build up, and some really fun metaphors. It will have you wanting to hit the bar immediately before you’ve even finished the track!

Up next is ‘Lose Her For Nothin’. A different sort of vibe with a more serious tone, it’s moody atmosphere will have you reflecting in a heartbeat. It can be easy to fall into routine, and take each other for granted. At some point, the empty threats become trustworthy and can tear a relationship in half.

‘Miss Summer’ is a glorious track that will leave you longing for those warmer months. It’s fun, quirky, and suits the summer so well! Referring to a special someone to ‘Miss Summer’, it describes the special feeling of meeting someone knew, but it not lasting as long as you hoped.

Following this is ‘Just Like Johnny’ brings the listener back down to earth with it’s all or nothing sense. It see’s Redferrin really leaving into his rock roots, and offers a different listening experience to other tracks from the collection.

‘Doin’ Life’ has previously been released by the artist and fits perfectly on ‘Old No. 7’. With it being Redferrin’s most personal song to date, we get a real sense of the lowest lows he has experienced and how much of a difficulty it can be to try and come back from a place like that.

The penultimate track is ‘She’s Like Whiskey’, which i’m sure you can tell by the title goes back to clever lyricism and fun similes. A real treat to listen to and will have you relating to the words, accompanied by a laid-back backing track.

Finally, the EP comes to a close with ‘Champagne In The Morning’. Beautifully rounding up the new songs, Redferrin has officially completed a track for every mood and feeling with this short collection.
