McFly are celebrating 21 years together as a band, with a special birthday party at The O2 on 9th & 10th October 2024.
It is crazy to think that McFly have been around for 21 years and have spanned many different genres to their sound since then. Starting with the classic Beach Boys influence, we’ve seen the boys from form ‘5 Colours In Her Hair’ to their edgier sound with the ‘Power to Play’ album released last year. Whatever your favourite era of the band is, It’s time to celebrate the last 2 decades of the band!
The announcement comes just days after singer Danny Jones, is announced the winner of The Masked Singer. The ‘Piranha’ wowed the judges and viewers from the beginning, with some really special renditions including the Celine Dion hit ‘It’s All Coming Back to me Now’.
Back in 2013, McFly celebrated their 10 year anniversary with 4 nights at the Royal Albert Hall. Throughout their set, friends, family and celebs joined in on the fun to discuss what McFly means to them and to send them well wishes. This was the first time that ‘McBusted’ performed together, too, and has remained one of the groups best kept secrets to this day.
McFly will be playing a one-off performance at The O2 on 10th October to celebrate 21 years together. Pre-sale tickets have already gone however, tickets go on general sale on 23rd Feb 2024. you can expect a true celebration of the band and all of their accomplishments, in an old school birthday party vibe – Grab yourself a goodie bag and you’re good to go!
