Here’s your second part of The Masked Singer updates, as it returns for it’s new season on ITV. Who’s your favourite so far?
Airfryer
The clue package involved the wrap up of filming in a kitchen, with mention of celebrity chefs. This had viewers speculating whether this might be a famous judge, like, or a contestant on one of these shows. Covering Ava Max’s track ‘Kings and Queens’, Airfryer also has the judges beleving she could also be a professional singer.
Bubble Tea
Bubble Tea has a very impressive costume and if filled with pinks and purples. The Clue Package saw her send a package to Emily Stella at Clapham Hotel. Sounds like it should be obvious, right? Wrong! With hints of content creating, it looks like Bubble Tea has tried her hand at directing, too. She sang Madonna’s classic hit ‘Material Girl’, and sang it with a soft approach.
Owl
Dressed like he’s ready for education, viewers watched Owl return to school and explore the gym and classrooms. She mentioned ‘double trouble’ and that she might work late at night. There really was not a lot given away. Recreating ‘Padam Pada’ by Kylie Minogue, her voice was a bit shakey with nerves and laughter, we can’t wait to hear more!
Eiffel Tower
With an obvious french theme, we saw Eiffel walk the streets of London. Included in the clues were a bushtucker trial, Abbey Road and Shakespeare’s Globe. Although these references seem niche, is does feel too early to put your finger on a guess. ‘Voulez Vous’ was the track of the evening for Eiffel Tower, bringing the audience to their feet.
Chicken Caesar
With an apparent Newcastle accent, one clue of many suggests the year 1966 and roman history. He sang ‘Under The Bridge’ by Red Hot Chilli Peppers and doesn’t seem to be a professional singer. That’s not to say it wasn’t enjoyable!
Piranha
The vocals on Piranha were outstanding and the best out of our second batch of masked contestants. His accent was a bit muddled, and many wonder whether this was to throw the audience off. Piranha has been very popular on social media, with speculation that it may be Danny Jones from McFly or Lee Ryan from Blue!
