Kim Petras has finally released her new album ‘Feed The Beast’. Head to your nearest streaming platform because it is an incredible listen!
The first track of the album shares the name ‘Feed The Beast’. It’s upbeat vibe will have you wanting to get your body moving before the first chorus, and sets the scene perfectly for the rest of the collection. ‘Aloe’ with Nicki Minaj follows, which has been used all over TikTok even before it’s release. Sampling the classic euro-pop rave tune ‘Better Off Alone’ by Alice Deejay, it’s hints of nostalgia makes this also a great listen.
A few tracks later we have ‘uhoh’. It’s honest lyrics and backing track will send you into a spiral. This track is proof in itself that everything she drops is a banger! ‘Sex Talk’ as you can imagine with the name, is the most x-rated track of the album. It’s a great getting ready for a night out track and will be added to playlists of that nature for years to come!
‘Minute’ re-visits the a different vibe and has a sense of urgency to it’s desperate wording. ‘Coconuts’ follows, which is potentially the most popular song of the release. It’s promiscuous lyrics and summer feel-good sound keeps the album upbeat when approaching the last few tracks!
‘Castle In The Sky’ is another banger filled with metaphors and clever wordplay. Kim Petras continues to surprise fans with the different speeds and tone of her tracks, while also keeping to her signature sound. Obsessed. The collection comes to a close with a bonus track of ‘unholy’, the popular sultry song performed with Sam Smith.
‘Feed The Beast’ will be the soundtrack to many summers and has been released at a perfect time. Each track offers its’ own story, and the whopping 15 track album is perfect for all moods.
