British band New Hope Club have just released a stunning new single titled “Just Don’t Know It Yet” – and it will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside!
“Just Don’t Know It Yet” can be described as a modern classic love song. It has gentle acoustics and beautiful lyricism that will sweep you off your feet. It’s the kind of song that most of us can only dream of being written about. The lyrics describe someone in a relationship that thinks about his future with his partner. The growing old together, having kids, and just knowing that they are the one for them. Even if the other person does not yet know what they’re thinking and what future they are planning. New Hope Club worked with Toby Gad and Fraser Churchill on the track. Toby Gad is an award-winning songwriter and producer that has co-written some of the most famous songs in modern history including John Legend’s ‘All of Me’, Beyoncé’s ‘If I Were A Boy’ and Fergie’s ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’.
On the track, the band explain;
“This song explores the thoughts that run through your mind the moment that you fall in love at first sight. It’s that feeling that you can see your whole life together, yet you are still complete strangers. It’s stripped back and acoustic because we wanted the song to feel like we are serenading the one we love. The strings, recorded in Nashville, build throughout the song which provides a beautiful moment at the end, to pause and think over the lyrics.”
Last May, New Hope Club returned with new music with “Just Don’t Know It Yet” being their most recent release. So far, they have an astonishing 7 million streams combined on Spotify. Earlier in the year they released ” ‘Don’t Go Wasting Time“, which earned BBC Radio 1 Future Pop. In 2020 they dropped their debut album that found its place in the top 5 in the UK Official Album Chart. Now, in their whole new era, they have already released a string of music that also includes “Girl Who Does Both” and highly catchy track “Getting Better“.
Along with releasing new music, the trio have also been busy touring the world. During the summer, the boys performed at multiple sold-out shows across Asia and the United States, and they will be heading back on the road again for their headline shows in Tokyo and Seoul this month. They will also be opening for Busted at their London O2 shows later in the year. More information can be found via their website.
