Last week, songstress Mimi Webb released the music video for her brand-new single “Freezing.”
Mimi is an artist that is currently killing the music scene. Last week saw the release of her debut album “Amelia” which features eleven tracks – all just as catchy as the last. Her newest single “Freezing” is a fun, dance-worthy song that will get you up off your feet – a toe tap at the very least.”Freezing” is all about trying to be free of someone who simply can not take a hint. The singer no longer wants to be with that person, yet no matter what she does to prove her disinterest, he just attaches to the relationship even more. She’s tried being cold with him, now she’s so cold, she’s freezing. Harsh yet necessary.
The music video perfectly tells the story behind the lyrics in a fun, light-hearted manner. In the video, we see Mimi Webb trying her hardest to remove all of this persons belongings from her home. From throwing his clothes down the stairs, getting rid of his food in the fridge, and even selling his things in a garage sale. Anything to completely eliminate him from her life. The video is now available to view via YouTube below;
Other songs that feature on the album include some of her most notable singles released in the past year including “Ghost Of You,” “Red Flags,” and “House On Fire.” Altogether, she has garnered over 8 million monthly streams that will just continually rise after music lovers hear the rest of this incredible album.
2023 has already been a fantastic year for Mimi. She was nominated for a Brit Award under the “Breakthrough Artist” category, and she’ll be heading out on a headline tour in the UK starting this April! Not only that, but she will be spending the summer performing at a variety of festivals including the iconic Reading and Leeds Festival! Tickets can be found here.
