Fall Out Boy Announce Album ‘So Much (For) Stardust’

Fall Out Boy have announced a new album for the Spring, named ‘So Much (For) Stardust’ with accompanying first single from the collection!

Fall Out Boy have announced their eighth studio album, due to be released 24th March 2023. As well as this exciting announcement, they have also shared the first glimpse of the new material with the release of ‘Love From The Other Side‘.

The intro offers a completely different side to Fall Out Boy, however it soon picks up the pace. Meeting the perfect clash of instruments is the perfect, passionate vocals of Patrick Stump, a voice a lot of us grew up with and continue to enjoy! Offering a mixture of insane sound and imaginative lyrics, it’s easy to paint a picture of the message that Fall Out Boy want to convey.

When discussing ‘So Much (For) Stardust, lead singer Patrick Stump said:

“Technology has made it really easy to make records much more quickly these days. There’s nothing wrong with that, and that spontaneity can be exciting. But we wanted to get back to the way we used to work. We wanted to make a record that was really lovingly crafted and deliberate and patiently guided – like someone cooked you a delicate meal. I’m not a very proud guy, but I’m pretty proud of this record.”

Fans are thrilled with the announcement of new music and look forward to enjoying Fall Out Boys’ new stuff. It’s their first new studio album since M A N I A, that dropped in 2018. It received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Album, and was their third consecutive and fourth overall #1 album in the US, and third consecutive #2 album in the UK. We can only imagine that the new release will have similar success! The album is available for pre-order here.
