Today, (Friday 11th November), pop-rock singer jxdn released his all-new single “Sober”!
“Sober” is an incredible single that deserves to be blasted through your speakers at the highest of volumes! jxdn has the perfect vocal range for the pop-rock genre. It flows so effortlessly, he makes it look easy. The chorus is just ridiculously catchy, guarantee it will be stuck in your head for the weeks to come – so don’t plan anything that you need to concentrate soon because this song WILL be your main focus for a long time.
The track was written by jxdn, alongside Travis Barker, Mike Posner and Andrew Goldstein, and was produced by Travis and Andrew. With a team like that, it’s no wonder why “Sober” is an absolute banger of a song. A music video – directed by Van Alpert – was also released alongside the track. Van managed to capture the meaning to the song perfectly. You’re watching the story come to life with your very eyes. It captures the singers loneliness in a beautifully artistic way. It’s dark, but addictive – just like the song. The video is now available to watch via Youtube below;
On “Sober,” jxdn explains;
“I want to have fun. No rules. I want to remind people how empowering music can make you feel. This is the beginning of a New Era for myself. This song doesn’t sound like the next, and the one after sounds different too. I’m making music for everyone now. You don’t have to be ready, because I already am.”
“Sober” is now available to stream via all major streaming platforms.
The singer kicked off his new era with a sold out show at The Roxy in Los Angeles on Monday 7th of November – a full circle moment for jxdn as it was here where he played his first ever show back in 2021! At this show, he welcomed his friend and fellow rock musician Machine Gun Kelly to the stage.
This is the next chapter for the star! There are more big things to come from him in the months ahead, and we can’t wait to see what he has instore for everyone. Be sure to follow jxdn on Twitter and Instagram to keep up to date on future news!
