The Walking Dead returns for it’s final leg of the show, the last third of Season 11. You watch watch it every Monday on DisneyPlus!
Long term fans have been watching the series since 2010, and have watched their favourite characters grow in unprecedented times. When Rick wakes up from a coma alone, he quickly realises that the end of the world is in sight.
The series has followed Rick and his family since the first episode, as well as new friends made along the way. Many have come and gone along the way, which can be expected in this setting!
Season 11 has found the gang arrive and come to terms with their new home – The Commonwealth. 10 years into the zombie apocalypse the group find themselves in a place that seems to good to be true. And it might just be. With strict rules, a president, working outlets for everyone and many, many survivors, they soon realise that not is all as it seems.
Although viewers and devastated with the news of this being the final season, they are not disappointed with the announced spin-off shows that have been announced. Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will be heading to New York together in ‘Dead City’, and we can’t wait to see what the unlikely pair will be up to. Daryl (Norman Reedus) will also be featured in his own show, which involves his travelling to Europe.
Finally, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) will reunite for their own spin-off show too. With them both being absent for the last couple of seasons, you’ll see their journey towards reuniting in order to fill in the missing gaps.
