Himalayas Release ‘Out Of The Dark And Into The Light’

HIMALAYAS have dropped their massive new track ‘Out Of The Dark And Into The Light’. Listen now on all major streaming platforms!

Joe Williams (vocals) and Mike Griffiths (guitar) had similar music tastes while growing up, and sharing their love for listening and playing music, they began learning covers to play in local pubs. Soon enough, James Goulbourn on drums joined in 2015, and HIMALAYAS were complete with the joining of Louis Heaps on Bass.

It’s clear from the beginning that Himalayas’ timing combines the perfect, and clean sounding clash in instruments. With a real foot tapping vibe, the backing track is met with the glorious vocals of Joe Williams. It really is no wonder why Himalayas have proven to remain popular amongst the music scene.

When discussing the track, Joe said:

“Out Of The Dark And Into The Light is a song about hoping for something better, as well as hoping to be better. It was written at home during the tail end of a lockdown, and snowballed once we got back into a practice room.”

The release follows their previous single ‘Alone’ from back in July, which was produced by long term collaborator Steffan Prongle. It was al mixed by GRAMMY Award winning producer Dave Sardy, who has previously worked with the likes of Royal Blood, Josh Homme and Rage Against The Machine.
