Yungblud has recently released his new single “Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today” – which is a hyper active, energy driven track with a powerful meaning. Now, he has dropped a “sad” version of the track which makes that meaning even more impactful.

In the original music video for the single, Yungblud invited his fans to join him whilst they filmed. Here, they had a massive outdoor party which portrays the songs upbeat vibe perfectly. In contrast, “Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today (Sad Version)” only shows the singer with his guitar, wonderful voice, and is filmed in black and white which only adds to the feel of the song.

The lyrics behind the track have a deep meaning behind them. In the original version of the song, this is somewhat overshadowed by the cheerful, fun, and summery beat. The contrast works well. It makes the song memorable and puts the listener in a good mood despite the lyrics being sung. However, the sad version provides in different insight, and you are able to appreciate the lyricism even more. The track has been totally stripped back and couldn’t be more different from the original. This only shows Yungblud’s talent. He can change the mood of the same song so easily. Having both versions will only allow his listeners to relate to the track even more. You can choose which version you want to listen too depending on the mood that you are in.
