The Bros. Landreth have dropped their incredible new single, ‘Drive All Night’. It’s available to listen to on Spotify and Apple Music!
The duo consists of brothers Joey and Dave. Working together, they combine their melody driven songs, adding touches of organ and synth with a hint of textured guitar.
Coming from their most recent album ‘Come Morning’ (released with Birthday Cake Records), ‘Drive All Night’ is a gorgeous song with a real hint of summer in the sound. The laid back track compliements the glorious harmonies of The Bros. Landreth perfectly.
When discussing the music video, The Bros. Landreth said:
“With this video he’s flipped the song on its head and offered a completely different perspective on the lyric — treating the song as a bitter sweet memory, looking back on a happier time in a relationship. The two actors that agreed to do the video, Stephanie Sy and Gabriel Daniels, were enormous on camera. Mike & his team did a brilliant job of giving the actors space to portray a heart-breaking story of two people falling apart and falling away from each other.”
The music video see’s Gabriel write a letter to his significant other, leaving this and a ring, and leaving in the early hours of the morning. The tracks sounds like the feeling of falling in love, so the clash of lyrics juxtaposed with the visual is really something special.
The track builds up around an attempted phone call from Stephanie. The final scene shows the pair back in their intimate ways. Is this a flash back to earlier on in their relationship? Did Gabriel have a change of heart? That’s up to you to determine!
