Pale Waves have released their long awaited gorgeous new track ‘Lies’. It is out now and available to listen to on Spotify!
The band have made incredible progress within the industry since their first album ‘My Mind Makes Noises’ back in 2018. With a very unique sound and style of writing music, they become more and more popular with every new release.
‘Lies’ describes the feeling that a lot of our readers have found themselves in, being in a relationship with no meaning and feeling stuck. This often leads to being lied to and feeling distant. One thing Pale Waves always do so well is impeccable timing and the perfect clash of instruments. ‘Lies’ really shows off these talents!
When discussing the new track, Heather said:
“‘Lies’ is about someone who built up my trust and destroyed it like a wrecking. It caused some real trust issues, but fortunately for me that person is no longer in my life. Once you do me wrong you’re gone!”
‘Lies’ was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Zakk Cervini, who has worked with the likes of Blink 182, Machine Gun Kelly, Halsey and Modern Baseball. The band have announced their new album ‘Unwanted’ will be released on 12th August via Dirty Hit. With examples such as ‘Lies’, fans are pumped for new material and be a part of their music journey.
Pale Waves are guaranteed to put on an energetic performance no matter the venue or occasion. You can find their upcoming live events below!
